Rafferty's furniture store (formally known as The Bed & Pine Furniture Store) opened in York Road, Hartlepool in 1998. The store was the 2nd store to be opened in the town by Colin Rafferty, following the success of the Sofa Bed Factory Shop which started trading in 1989.

Colin’s store specialises in manufacturing bespoke furniture and offers a comprehensive selection of bedroom, dining and living room furniture in a large range of finishes. If so desired customers can also have a number of products completed with a particular finish provided by themselves.

The Teesside based store also showcases an impressive selection of mirrors, pictures and lighting together with a large range of unusual home accessories sourced from around the world.

As the business has grown the store has extended and now features 4 floors of beautiful home furniture and accessories together with an in-store coffee shop.

On November 1st 2008 following ten successful years and the completion of a major refit, the store was renamed as Rafferty's to reflect the store's enhanced size and product range.

The success of the Hartlepool business has been built on delivering a quality product at the right price with a first class service to customers.
